16 Hours Total Training

Armed Security Officers
20 Hours Total Training
• Legal limitations on the use of handguns and on the powers and authority of an armed security guard, including familiarity with rules and regulations relating to armed security guards
• Handgun safety, including range firing procedures
• Handgun operation and maintenance
• Handgun fundamentals
• Night firing
Armed Security Officers must attain 80% accuracy or better to be certified in North Carolina
