Description

Task Force Protection is seeking a professional, dependable, and high-integrity Unarmed Security Officer to be assigned to a outdoor retail property in Garner, North Carolina.The officer placed at this site will be expected to build positive, professional relationships with visitors and staff while maintaining a visible and effective security presence.

 

Required Qualifications

Applicants must be eligible for registration under North Carolina General Statute 74C, including but not limited to:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
  • Must have no disqualifying criminal convictions
  • Must successfully complete or have completed the N.C. PPSB 16-Hour Unarmed Security Training.
  • Must be able to pass a state and federal background investigation
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift items in excess of 20 pounds
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English
  • Ability to operate under pressure and respond appropriately to dynamic situations
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with visitors and staff

Experience

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is preferred
